newbie alert!!

After loitering around this forum for a few weeks, doing some research and getting my head in gear i am planning on taking the plunge and starting SW on tues 1st November!

Started this year at 12stone and have got myself down to just below 11st by hit and miss 'dieting', never really stcking to anything for long or learning any of the skills to make this a lifelong commitment!

I'm 28 and have spent the last 10 years yo-yoing and generally being unhappy with myself. have very low self-esteem anyway and being overweight and out of shape doesn't help :( I don't want this to continue into my 30s so i'm taking the steps to change my food habits for good, and SW seems the best way to do that!!

I don't mind if it comes off slowly as long as it stays off and i can enjoy food and life along the way :D

Will weigh in tues for an official starting weight and then there is no stopping me!!! watch out skinny-I'm coming for ya!!! ;)

Hi, im 40 and feel that way.. and im 20 stone..sweety you got plenty of time and you can do it...if i could go back in time to 28, having seen my future, i would not have wasted these last 12 years. Go for it and good luck :)
 
Welcome :) check out the teams subforum if you fancy getting involved with a weightloss challege. Theres one set up to start next Tuesday called 'december challenge' basically setting a target for what you wanna lose by December :)

Theres also a Tuesday weighers thread in the weekly weigh in subforum with loads of helpful people!
