Shopping at Aldi

OH gets paid on Monday so going to try and do monthly shop (hoping wont spend as much if not going shopping every week)

Normally go to Tesco as can get everything I need more but think Aldi will be much cheaper. I know they don't do the extra lean mince or low fat versions of things (so will have to go to Tesco for them) but hoping people will add to my list of items which are SW friendly.

I know the 70 cal cereal bars are HEX's

Any other ideas???

Personally I disagree that Aldi is really cheaper than Tesco. There is a lot smaller selection of products so you aren't tempted with loads of extras. I shopped at Aldi a couple of weeks back and compared the prices online then. Somethings were cheaper in Aldi, some in Tesco. Overall the cost was very similar for the 2. I think it is personal preference though. I'm back at Tesco now - pretty much the same cost and I get my points :) I do stick as much as possible to Tesco value though.

Sorry - that really hasn't answered your question has it??!!

I did find their fondant fancies good though at only 4.5 syns each :)
