Consolidation foods

Hi all, i have just been reading up on the consolidation phase and am a bit confused. Are you meant to have all the food listed or is it that you can, but not if you dont want to.?
For example i am not a cheese lover but cheese is listed, is it recommended to eat all foods to aim for stabilization?
Sorry if i have rambled

Yes you should try to add all 'new' foods - the cheese provides an easily measurable quantity of of fat, as well as being something that most people have missed during cruise. you might be able to do the math and work out that a TS of butter or a quantity of fattier cold meats (le salami) would do the same. If at all possibly I would try to stick to the suggested foods as much as possible and only start adapting when you feel confident that you have a feel for quantities and food types.
But ouy can do it more gradually than suggested, most of us did as were were all quite scared a bit what might happen when the carbs were allowed back! However, to have any hope of safely stabilizing, you will need to re-introduce all previously banned food/carb types:
starchy carbs: in bread, pasta etc
sugars: in fruit
fats: in cheese and fattier meats like pork and lamb

Good luck!

Thank you so much, I was a little confused by the book.. But don't want to ruin all hard work done so far by making a silly mistake and wanted to be sure.

Why not join in properly here, and then we'll be able to advise you better. Perhaps update your User CP. If you're going into consolidation, then you've lost weight with Dukan, so why not open a diary and tell us all about it? We'll be able to assist then with Conso.

Good luck
