Funny WI stories

I'll find out tonight when I go to my first class meeting :D
THough one funny thing my mum has told me (she's done SW before) is that I should wear really heavy clothes tonight for my first WI and then really light clothes next week to "make me lose even more weight!"

I love this!! I once did it when I joined a different slimming club and kept my boots on for the first weigh in then took them off for every one after!!
I also go for about 5 wees before I get weighed!! And literally eat salad and not much else on the day I get weighed as my weigh in is an evening one. :sigh:

I never wear jeans, jewellery or my hair extensions when I get weighed I usually wear a pair of leggings, a vest top and no shoes. I also go for loads of wee's before I get on the scales.:8855:

Love that so many people do the same, because im an evening weigher try and keep food intake light on day, wear lighter clothing and a pre weigh toilet break too :D

A couple of the ladies that help out at our group weigh in first in their undies, and once when i put on half a pound they told me to do the same. I told them I'm not that desperate.

When I started SW I didn't wear glasses...I have since been told to wear glasses...but just in case I always take them off! :)

It is mad isn't it? - I remove watch, ring, wallet - wear contacts instead of specs (them ounces feel like pounds) T-shirt only (no jumper/sweater etc.

The daftest thing has to be edging gently onto the scales rather than jumping onto them! - not that it makes any difference, but it FEELS like it does lol.

I bet you all breathe in on the scales too:8855:

I don't do anything, that makes me weird! I never take my shoes off. Simply cos it pees me off when the person in front takes forever to put theirs back on!!!
I did have a wee before weighing this week but only because it was 5.30 and I hadn't had one since 9am!

I did weigh in 1/2lb heavier this week I put that down to that last time I was wearing leggings and a light tunic and this time was wearing jeans and a belt!

I used to starve myself, not drink for 4 hours before and wear the lightest trousers and top I could find, even to the point of wearing an unpadded bra because it weighed less!

About 6 weeks ago someone on here said something that changed my view and that a drink is not going to cause a "weight" gain, it just might make you heavier. ie. I'm not a larger size or a higher BMI, I've just had a drink!! Now I wear whatever I fancy, eat and drink what and when I want and the afternoon before weigh in is a stress free and more importantly hunger and thirst free pleasure!

I must confess though, in my first week I drank a pint of water before my initial WI thinking it'd make me heavier so I'd have an even better first week. It didn't work that well and I only lost 1.5lbs!!! ;)

Breathe out Maximus! Otherwise the air could add extra weight!!!!   :8855:

Air is ligher than fat is lighter than muscle - I read it in a book once.;)

You're so hardcore Shirleen:cool:

lol these are so funny! I must admit I don't do anything aside from making sure I wear the same sort of clothes each week. A light top and track bottoms. I never take my trainers off, but I do take my jacket and bag off. Lord knows I'll be desperate one week and take the shoes off, but then I'd know in my own heart of hearts that that extra half pound loss was only the trainers and I'll feel like a cheat. Ahhhh why do I have to have an over-inflated sense of fair play?! hahaha

I do ww online and get weighed at home. I make sure I have had a wee, take of all jewellery and won't get weighed with wet hair.

I wear the same clothes every week and I take my shoes off, because to me that's my true weight, and not what I'm wearing.
I have been caught by my oh on numerous occasions weighing myself naked!

It wasn't a pretty sight I can assure you!! My hubby caught me and thought I'd finally lost it! Must b at least 2lb in each one though ha ha x
