Where can i get Asian Noodles

Hi some one has suggested Asian noodles to me as i'm missing carbs, is there a specific brand? Where does everyone get theirs from or are they just the dried noodles at supermarkets (what ingredients should it say on the packet?

Many Thanks

They're called Shirataki noodles and you can get them from your local Asian supermarket and some people buy them online x

I've been looking all over for these, I've been in a world food store and two Asian supermarkets and neither had them.

I've got a massive oriental store near mine and they had never heard of them, think they do mainly Chinese though and the staff thought they sounded Japanese. Anyone know where to buy online and how much they are?

Yep, just Google 'Buy Shirataki Noodles online'... loads of results.

Yes Japanese speciality shops sell them rather than Chinese. They're nothing like "real" noodles, if you know what I mean. An expensive disappointment really :D

You are SO right! I bought 10 packets (to save on delivery charge) and the only way I can eat them is to chop them up small and add (hide) them in my spicy mince - tried to give them to OH and he said he'd rather starve than eat them again:8855:
