Struggling with soups

I've been 100% ssing since I started (a bit over a week and a half and ten pounds down :D) I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but it's kinda weird. I like the soups (well, don't mind them) but over the last couple of days the thought of eating them has made me feel naseus. I'm fine with the porrige and the tetra's (chocolate ones) but I have been struggling to bring myself to have the soups. the thing is that once I start I'm fine and I find them very filling/difficult to finish sometimes.

Anyone experience this/know what to do? I'm worried that if I have nothing but porrige/tetras that I'll get sick of them too.

Has anyone else had this problem/have an solution ideas? I don't really want to add in the meal because I've heard it makes you hungrier and I don't want to be tempted to cheat because I can't stand the thought of eating anything and having to go off the diet.

Thanks for any help!

Hi i didn't want to read and run, i've struggled with a little bit of a dodgy tummy and i think it's the soups, i didn't have one yesterday and i was fine but today i managed half a sachet before my tummy started gurgling !! I do have a meal everyday as the thought of having no food at all made me think i would never stick to the diet at all...but everyone is different, have you tried all flavours ??

I've tried chicken and mushroom, vegetable, oriental chilli, potato and leek. Have tomato but havn't tried it yet cos i'm lazy lol.
There were none that I outright didn't like, though the problem did start when I drank some of the potato and leek really quickly and had to stop about half way through. generally I am a slow eater and I had eaten about half the bowl in like 20 seconds. It put me off the potato ones but I don't know why it would affect the thoughts of the others because I hadn't had any problems with them before.

I felt exactly the same about the soups!

However, I just chose not to get any the second week. That made a massive difference. Then by the 3rd week I was able to try the bars as well (they are really nice).

So don't panic, just get soups occasionally in the flavours you know you really like. Mix up your meal choices each day as well.

The first week I was having a porridge, a shake and then a soup. Every day. By the end of the week I was sick to death of soups, even though I enjoyed the taste. Instead the following week I tried to mix it up. All shakes one day. A porridge two shakes the next.

Now I have the bars as well there are even more options. :] Also you can mix the chocolate, chocolate mint and chocolate orange shakes with hot water to make hot chocolates (yum!).

Well done on your weight loss so far and keep up the good work! Sarah x

That might help, I'll give it a go, I've been gringing the chocolate tetras with ice in a blender and it makes like a thick chocolate shake which is really nice, though with it getting colder, hot chocolate is a good idea!

I figure I'll give it another week and then if I feel the same I'll consider adding a meal or switching to something else.
Hopefully this will work!

i always have a soup to balance out the sweet stuff... but i add loads of water and drink it more as a hot drink than a "meal"... warms me up real fast without the caffeine from tea or coffee

I did try something similar before but I had a difficult time finishing, there was just so much soup!

I'm not really a big drinker of hot drinks in general, don't have tea, if I have coffee it's generally in the form a frappachino from starbucks and at that they are a rarity. I occasionally have a hot chocolate in the winter but that's really it.
