Can't wait to have 1 chin
I've been offered Xenical by my dr , i'm a bit wary due to the side effects. I'm scared i won't know what to eat :sigh:

How easy is it to get into ?

Hiya

There is a sticky that explains it better but the basic rules are no foods that have over 5g of fat per 100g and no more than a total of 15g fat per meal. I'm on my second week and by sticking to that I've had no nasty side effects. I more look at it that I'm too worried to eat anything out of those rules in case of the side effects. That's enough to keep me on the straight and narrow so far. The way to look at it is that if you eat the fat the tablets will get rid of it & not in a nice way!!!

Good Luck if you decide to give them a try x

Thanks hun

How do you tell how much fat is in things like chicken breasts ans things like that ?

and does it mean 15g per each meal ?

Myfitnesspal is fab, enables you to locate the calories innearly anything as well as the fat content, each meal should have no more than 15g of fat within it , and each individual part of the meal no more than 5g

check the thread extra help for xenical starters. It has a lot information and some usual links and helps you to understand the rules.

Don't be scared about having side effects, you won't suffer these as long as you follow the rules..it does mean you have to check the packaging but it's very easy and it all becomes second nature to you.

You won't feel like you're on a diet, just a healthier way of life.

all chocolate, biscuits, cakes (with the exception of weight watchers slices) crisps are out but there are alternatives.
