Slimming World Crisps

I've heard of these and I wanted to make them but I've only read about them being made in a microwave and I don't have a microwave :( Can you make them in the oven?

I have never made them but i dont see why not.
I think you are ment to syn them though im afraid. xx

I don't see why you couldn't do them in the oven.

We had a discussion about this in group on Thursday and we were told if you doing a green or ee day you should syn them as if you were doing a red day. The same with pasta crisps, chickpea cake etc.

I don't see why you should syn them?? They are pot which are free on a green or EE day. As long as you only have them intermittantly i don't see it being a problem. up to u though x

A bag of crisps is made from potato though too, and you would syn them wouldnt you? This is the same thing, the only difference being that you are making them yourself. Infact some bags of crisps probably have less calories than a medium potato made into crisps. The problem with this crisps is that they are less dense and not as filling as say a jacket potato.

When you use free foods to make food items which would normally be syns, you have to be cautious. As it is food which can easily be over consumed and can therefore affect your weightloss.

If of course you eat them and are still losing weight, then carry on, but you know the first thing to look at if the weight is not coming off, because you are theoretically not following the Slimming World plan correctly.
