Mushroom and Peppercorn sauce

Just made this off another site and adapted it slightly. Makes 2 generous portions!

6 mushrooms sliced
75gms Extra Light Philadelphia
1/2 beef stock cube desolved into 1/2 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon sweetner
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 clove garlic

cook mushrooms in a little water, when soft add garlic, pepper and stock water. Reduce down till half amount of liquid then whisk in Philly and sweetner and return to the heat briefly. Serve with steak/ chicken.
I just had this on a PV day with a fillet steak and courgette dry fried. Delicious - everyone else having chinese tonight but my meal was by far the best!
 
Yummy I like the sound of this.
I haven't added in Philly - could quark be used instead?
 
I was going to try with Quark but would have thought so. x
