Should I AAM

Hi,

I've noticed my losses have really slowed. I tried AAM during week 5 but didn't do it all week and only really had a chicken salad/ Ham salad twice. I'm a bit scared as i have a function in November and I want to lose as much as possible by then, so I don't want a gain.
Also I'm frightened I won't be able to focus again and completely fall off the wagon and end up gaining it all back!
Don't really know what to do, I'm not very active so perhaps uping my exercise might do the trick?

All advice appreciated.:(

Why not try adding a meal now and then. In my experience I lose more after adding a meal. It takes a few days but I can tell when its working. I found adding a meal for seven nights was just too much. But it does boost your metabolism, helps you have a life, does not knock you out of ketosis and reminds you what eating is about.
Other diets don't recommend adding a meal - but then say only do it for 12 weeks. This is the NICE guideline for VLCD. Its up to you, but you will not necessarily lose more if you skip it. I hope it helps.

PS - upping exercise, especially first thing in the morning will certainly help too.

You shouldn't be scared to AAM, as long as you keep it low carb you should still see a loss (as people who eat low carb to diet do), and the following week after TS'ing again you should see a great loss as you'll have given your body a kick start x
