Heinz tomato soup is my fav, so I will definitely give this a try, sounds easy, and I love one pot cooking!

Well, I lost a pound, ate some other ss foods this week too, it might have helped, but even if not, it was a nice soup

Have made this today and added some paprika it doesn't seem bad especially as so easy to make! Am hoping the hubby and son will like like it too

Had this for lunch today, didn't put in the pickled onion but added some tabasco sauce .

1 tin of carrots (drained)
1 tin baked beans
1 chicken oxo or bovril stock cube
1/2 pint water

A lady in my group made this and said it was the closest soup to Heinz that she had tried. She also used some of it instead of passata on a smash pizza. I'm really not keen on tomato soup so I won't be trying it

I know I might sound really stupid but here goes, why blend when cold? I had a vegetable soup in my slow cooker ready for last night and blended it when hot, was yummy!!! Does it change the flavour or something? Wanna try the tomato soup so just clarifying before I make it... Thanks

Have just blended all the ingredients and it smells fabby, having it for a starter tomorrow have friends coming. Will add the water when I heat it just before serving to get the right consistency thanks for the recipe.

Its on the hob as we speak! Had no carrots or pickled onions so i've just left carrott out and used a red onion, it tastes good so far
