Total Solution Week 2 slow-down

Is this hugley common?

When I did LL I lost 19lbs week one, 7lbs week two and then averaged between 3-5lbs.

Lost 13lbs week one here, 3lbs week two. However I had a day off the wagon week two - so I am hoping to lose more this week? Do people find it varies or evens out?

Just a thought.

I had a slow week in week 4 despite doing everything exactly as I had been doing for the previous three weeks! (and it wasn't hormone type stuff either). I was pretty gutted about it at the time, but week 5 was another good one so it seems to be evening out nicely.
My fella on the other hand hasn't had a dodgy week yet (typical bloke ;)) but he knows it may happen at some point.

It's hard to look at the bigger picture when you've had a dissapointing week, but we're keeping a record of our weight-loss on a spreadsheet that some kind person posted on here, and it does helps to get geeky and look at how well things are going on the whole!

I agree, the scales do not tell the truth!
Sometimes it takes a while for the real weight loss to show. If it seems to slow down ignore it, if you are sticking to it, IT WORKS.
Go by your measurements or your clothes. I try hard to weigh only once a month - I don't always succeed but in a month it certainly shows. At the start I would be so put off by daily and weekly fluctuations it actually discouraged me.
So good luck, its so worth doing.

Have to agree, scales do not always tell the picture, lost only 1.5, then 2lb week 5 and 6, then 5lbs week 7 and again in week 8, yet I am eating and drinking more or less the same each week.
However it is coming off and that is the main thing. I am well pleased with 34lbs in 7 weeks

I've had a slow week 6 only half a pound this week. Very de-motivating! I'm a slow loser anyway, I think i will have to try to be more active.
