Hi

I want to start walking and was wondering which would be more beneficial to me.

I understand the aim is to get in 10000 strps per day, and looking around most pedometers give a calorie burned figure too.

Although I understand hrm's would give a more accurate calorie count.

Im confused lol x

a HRM is only useful during exercise where you need to monitor it. i would say a pedometor is useful but not 100% accurate. 10,000 steps is 5 miles. if you want to be 100% accurate the only thing you can do is buy a sat nav, but this is quite expensive or has the potential to be.
