on the baking powder I have bought it says its got rice flour in it and it was also in some burgers I bought the other day.
Never seen or heard off this before, is it ok to have?
Thanks

Rice flour is pretty carby. On Atkins, especially during in Induction, rice and rice-based products are not allowed. If you checked the carb count on each item you ate, and the total fitted into your daily allowance, you may get away with it. However if you are in Induction grains etc are not allowed until the 'grains rung' of the Atkins food pyramid.

See how you go, appetite, cravings and weight-wise. If you end up suffering any kind of unfortunate side-effects then I would avoid rice flour in future.

All the best!

Thanks Girly
The burgers were 0 carb, which is strange if its carby stuff and not sure about the baking powder, only used a tsp for a mim so should be ok. xx

Yes, it is very very high in carbs! lol. I wouldn't worry about baking powder unless you use it by the mugful... Some foodstuffs list 0 carbs when in fact they contain 'up to.. 1g carbs'. I have read about that - 0.9g carbs listed as 0. Even so that is a tiny amount.
