Hello,

I have just found this website, I have tried Weight Watchers, Slimming World and countless diets but I already feel more motivated than i have for a long time reading some posts on here and seeing the photos. I have gained about 80lbs over the last 7 years for various reasons (mainly because I eat too much! :)) I can't even blame my pregnancies as I lost the weight quickly both times then piled on weight after the births! I am just sick of not feeling like me anymore and putting clothes on to cover myself up rather than look nice! I want to be slim and fit and join in with my kids instead of watching. So here I am at the beginning of my journey and hopefully I'll have my own photos to put on one day!

Any advice or inspiration you can give me will be much appreciated. :)
 
Good luck :) Calorie counting has been great for me! Have you joined My Fitness Pal? It's great to track your food, makes it so easy!
 
Good luck strawberry. I find reading peoples blogs really inspiring, reminds you that everyone goes off track every now and then, but the people who do well dont give up when they have had a wobble. Which has allways been my downfall. :)
 
Thankyou everyone, I have found this morning hard (being Saturday morning) but I am still doing it. I am going to look at My Fitness Pal now! x
 
Janey, I have just noticed your goal weight loss was exactly the same as mine - 67lbs, how much have you lost?
 
Thanks, I agree, I am definitely going to try and come on here everyday, my husband is a skinny bean and can eat anything so coming on here makes me feel less on my own in my battle! :)
 
Hey Strawberry, you are never alone on minimins. I couldn't be without everyone on here.

After a hard day of life, coming on here just reminds you there are people out there with the same struggles, but more importantly the same goals.

Like the others have said, join MFP. It takes the hard work out of counting the cals.
