Just a few questions from a newbie!

Hi all,

I'm starting SW tomorrow as I decided to bite the bullet and actually DO something to lose some weight rather than just thinking about it and then another week goes by and then I feel even bigger and unhappier!

So have I got this right?

Freefood - I can eat as much of this as I like, with 1/3 of each of each meal preferably being superfree foods?

Healthy extras -I have one A healthy extra each day and 2 B healthy extras each day? and there are orange days, green days and red days?

I then get up to 15 syns a day?

Sorry for all the questions! I did SW over 10 years ago and I really don't want to do Weightwatchers again as I don't have the time with a baby and toddler to count every single thing I eat! :)

Thanks in advance for any answers!

Youre a bit off on the hex - you get one a and one b on the orange day as you call it which is extra easy

On the red and green days you get two a's and two b's

Well done for biting the bullet hon, good luck!!

Thank you for your replies. Debridger, that link was really useful, it's answered all my questions. It's been my first day today and it's going ok so far, been out to the grocers to fill up my kitchen with fruit and veg! and having chicken and pea risotto for tea tonight, one of my favourite meals and I've worked out it's almost free on an EE day, counting the tablespoon of olive oil as syns. I can't wait for teatime!

Caroline, you're welcome, you really don't need the oil, I make loads of risotto, and never use any oil, maybe a little frylight (free) for softening my onions, but if you feel you need it it's 6syns tbs or if extra virgin 1 tbs is HEB

Oh, I'll try that next time. I cut out the butter today, the recipe says to use about 1oz of butter and 1tbsp of olive oil, and I didn't notice the difference with it, so next time I'll cut out the oil as well, then I can eat even more :)

I am feeling a bit peckish now though, but I think that's habit, so I've filled up my bottle with water to make sure that it's not that I'm thirsty, and if not, then I'll have some nice ripe plums!
