Hi there not sure if a thread for this already exists but can anyone list the foods that they cannot do without to give me some inspiration!

Thanks!! X

Frozen chicken breast, turkey breast pieces, whole chicken, eggs, salmon, total 0% yoghurt, quark, lots of seasonings, sugar free jelly

For pv days mushrooms tomatoes peppers broccoli cabbage and parsnips for my Sunday roast!

Are we allowed parsnips? From Atkins days remember they are v carby? Would love it if they are OK - as I too just love them with a roast.

I love fish so staples I add in are prawns and salmon steaks - blackened with miso soup for a ramen style dish with beansprouts. Yum yum.

I'm not 100% actually, the first time I had them I didn't have access to the book or net to check so had them anyway and have forgotten to check, oops! Will look that up , hope they are ok they take the place of roast potatoes very nicely!

Just found this:

satvik : Hello Team, Are parsnips allowed during cruise phase or are they too starchy?
Moderatrice Sonja : Hi Satvik! yes you can have them on PV days as it's allowed food don't worry! If you have some recipes with them do not hesitate to share them with us! keep going!

on this site September 22 Weekly Chat With Dr. Dukan hopefully its reliable! I I didnt know swede was allowed, thats anther addition to my roast!

You can have parsnips - but with caution, like carrots and beetroot.

I couldn't do without fromage blanc, eggs, chicken, white fish, smoked salmon, oatbran and if I have prawns and rhubarb then that's a bonus. I like all veg, but greens are favourites. Lots of herbs and spices too, but I always used them anyway.

I got fed up of red meat and rarely have it now but that used to be on the list too.

For me it was smoked salmon... I love it!

Definitely lean beef for me! It's just so adaptable and I find I lose quicker with it too!

I might start rating more beef!!! I have been eating it but I've been eating mire chicken as I find that easier!!!

I have discovered that my local waitrose clears its shelves of beef on Wednesday night, ready to restock for the weekend - I regularly buy a large joint at a hugely reduced price, and roast iit that night for eating cold through pp thursday.
