I called LT this morning to clarify what you can and cannot add to shakes and soups so thought it may be useful to share their response with you all.
They said you can definitely have the shakes hot and it is ok to add coffee to vanilla and as long as peppermint tea is leaf tea only then that's fine too.
Re adding anything to soup they said NO! So no salt, pepper, curry powder, chilli flakes or dried herbs. They said this could take you out of ketosis and although some people may be fine it was not worth the risk.
Not sure I can stomach the soup just as it is without adding anything - what do people think? Have people lost weight well with adding anything? It occurred to me it may be ok for 1 soup per day if I kept testing for ketosis (pharmacy tests at WI but I could do it daily myself if bought ketostix). Would welcome people's advice please. Hope I have not breached rules and this does not get moved - sorry if I have.

i have always added lots of pepper and occasionally chilli flakes to my 2 soups a day and warmed up and i have had great weight losses and stayed in ketosis. i dont think i would add anything else especially not salt as this really is a big no no. i guess its an idividual choice and if you are adding it and find you dont loose weight or come out of ketosis then stop doing it and see. hope this helps :) x

I think different things work for different people. I think its a good idea to see how you get on at WI and if its not as good perhaps stop adding the extra bits.

Good luck x x x
