Bitten the bullet

Firstly i wanted to say thank you to everyone for being so insightful and informative on this forum, it's fantastic.

After doing lots of research and question asking I've bitten the bullet and ordered a month's bumper pack of shakes and bars, to start next Tuesday.

After a year of doing WW i've lost 2 stone, and have about that to go in order to get to a healthy BMI, ideally i'd like to lose another stone on top of that. Quite frankly i'm tired of pointing and dieting and counting every little thing that goes in my mouth, it's taking too long and i'm losing my will power. I have a real emotional struggle with food, but i don't have a problem eradicating it completely in the short term (although i probably won't be saying that when i'm starving hungry next week!!). What i do know is that i've been overweight for a long time, in fact from the first time i weighed myself at 17 and didn't like what i saw, i've never been at a healthy weight, and this will be the last time i lose weight. What comes off stays off this time!

Told my husband this morning, it was met with 'how much is it going to cost me?', and 'what if you don't like it?', but once he saw how much thinking i'd done he said it can only be a positive thing if i end up feeling good about myself.

So, fingers crossed - i'll probably be doing a fair bit of posting so if anyone wants to buddy up let me know :) x

Yeah you definitely didn't do it on a whim. A month is a good enough time to get a substantial loss. Its just as long as you get back to ww the minute you stop the shakes.

They do taste a bit funny at the beginning but you will get used to them when you dont eat anything else haha xx

I found the price too good not to buy a month's worth lol! Then if i'm getting on ok i'll carry on, after the food break, if not then i'll finish up, get back on WW and carry on regardless, either way i'll get there eventually.

I also bought a month's worth! After doing the sums, it was just worth it plus I love all the flavours and the week's worth doesn't give you everything, (why only 1 chocolate? Just wrong if you ask me ;)).

Good luck Thetrigos! Let us know how you get on. :)
