Into my 4th week now

Hi Everybody
I would like to say thank you for all posting on the exante forum. I have been looking through all your comments and have gained a lot of support, information and encouragement. So far I have been using exante total solution and have lost 21 pounds which is amazing!! I go for a 40 minute swim every morning before work and a 30 minute walk every evening and the scales are showing a loss every morning!

I can't say it has been all plain sailing. During the day I am fine as I am busy, evenings can be difficult especially around 6pm but I I use these forums to spur me on. I am not socialising as most of my nights out normally include wine and food but I think of the nights I have gone out with my slim friends and been conscious of being 'the fat one' in the group and ending up drinking too much to forget about it (until the photos go up on facebook to remind me and all I do is compare myself to my friends figures :() I am now looking forward to my night out with these girls in October as I plan to be 2 stone lighter by then and will feel so good and have the dress already hanging on my wardrobe door to remind me what I am doing. I have another 50 pounds to lose to get my BMI down and am looking forward to having a chat with you all and continuing with the fabulous results I am seeing. :)
Good luck to you all xxx

Fantastic. Well done :)

Thank you :) Only time I really need will power of steel is the weekend! I am so used to looking forward to the Friday night wine and takeaway that it is a hard habit to break!!

What helps me through is that I set myself a mini target of 1 or 2 pounds over the weekend for the Monday weigh in. I do weigh daily as it helps to keep me focused in the evenings and so far there is weight loss every day, even if it is 0.2 of a pound. I know that if I break at the weekend I will show it on the scales on Monday so it keeps me in check.

Keep going everyone
(P.S I have been very quiet about this at work but a couple of people are starting to comment )

well done on your loss so far, sounds like you have the determination to do this and look fab on your night out. You can go out and drink fizzy water as well you know instead of breaking your diet. I never touch alcohol these days and its lovely to be the one who can recall all the drunken antics of friends and not be the one embarrased by what was done etc. Good luck

I'll really try to steer clear of the wine. Haven't had a drink for 4 weeks now but it is easy enough as I haven't been out socially (apart from cinema). Maybe I should offer to be the designated driver and avoid temptation altogether.

sounds a great idea, or you could say you're on antibiotics and they are the sort you can't drink with. I know when I did LL years ago I had a number of little white lies I used to cover various excuses for not eating/drinking when out with people.
An abcess under a tooth got me out of many sticky situations; I used to say that I still wanted to go to the social event but my mouth was too sore to eat lol: I will probably never go to heaven

Brilliant lol! You have me convinced!! I have already had to say to well meaning (and also a little jealous I think) friends that doing this diet is bad for you by saying that I eat a meal and fruit in the evenings. Some people just really don't get it and think that a night off will do no harm but 1 night off plan may not make a lot of difference to the weight loss but an awful lot of difference to me psychologically and could trigger a downward spiral. I will adopt the 'little white lies' strategy henceforth!! ;)
