Today is my first day back on plan. I rejoined group last night after several months off plan, due to falling off the bandwagon with Dad's illness, holiday, etc.

I am determined to stick to it this time, and have set myself a mini-target of a 1.5stone loss by Christmas. This gives me 12 weeks to acheive my mini-target, and I feel this is doable. I have not yet set my overall target, as I feel I will know I am there when I get there.


I have decided to keep a food diary, and also to record my feelings/emotions, etc, as a way of helping myself. If I find myself having a really bad week, I can look back to a really great week, and see what I was doing differently. It will also be good for me to keep a food diary so that all you other lovely SWer's can keep me on track, and point out anything I could be doing better.

I'm feeling really confident and determined, and am hoping for a great first week. I can't wait for my first weigh-in next Tuesday night. Watch this space!
 
Day 1, Extra Easy: 28/09/11

Breakfast:

Mid-morning snack:

Jacket Potato with Beans and Cheese (HExA)

Day 2, Extra Easy: 29/09/11

Today I'm feeling really rubbish. Have been up and down all night unable to sleep. When my alarm finally went off this morning, I have woken up with a full blown cold!

I feel like I could sit and eat my way through a full packet of biscuits when I feel like this, but I am not going to. I would much rather have a great loss this week than a packet of biscuits.

Yesterday went really well getting back on track, so I am hoping today will go equally smoothly. Good luck to everyone else today xx

Yes, good luck to both you girls... It really helps reading your diaries and comments...I feel I could give up today, but won't! So want to lose a few pounds this week.... Onwards and downwards! :)
 
Thanks Lila! It's great having someone with a similar challenge, that way we can keep each other focused along the way. I've found your diary really inspiring, it has a lot of different meals in there I'd not yet thought of trying :)

Thanks Maggymay, good luck to you too! It's awful when you get the feeling of giving up, but I think we all feel like that at some point. The great thing about this forum is that everyone is undergoing the same journey, and we can all help each other through our tough weeks.:bighug:

Day 3, Extra Easy: 30/09/11

Today I'm feeling really excited. It's felt so good getting back on plan this week, and I already can't wait to weigh in on Tuesday night!

I have been asked out to lunch today by my friend Ben, and after much humming and harring, I have decided to go :) We are going to the Tapas Bar, but I will be making the most SW friendly choice I can. I have already looked at the menu, and have decided I am going to have Esalada de pollo - Warm chicken salad with avocado & new potatoes. I understand that avocado needs to be Synned, but this will not be a problem as I don't like it anyway, and will not be eating it. I will ask for any dressing to be served on the side, and I will be drinking strictly diet coke, as I am heading back to work afterwards.

I have a feeling that today is going to be a really good day! Sending positive vibes your way :vibes: good luck everyone! xx

Day 4, Extra Easy: 01/10/11

Found today really hard! Today was my first shift back at the bakery since my holiday, and everything looked soooo good! Every time the pastries came out of the oven, I was practically drooling :drool: but I managed to keep my cool, and resist the urge :)

Mam & Dad are going out for a meal tonight and Joel is going to Middlesbrough, so I am having a night in on my own with lots of DVD's. Will keep away from the naughty snacks though, really want a good weight loss this week!


Breakfast:

Chicken with Lettuce, Tomato and Cucumber in a small Wholemeal Roll (HExB)

I didn't feel I had enough Superfree today, so I need to increase this between now and Tuesday. I also went over on my Syns allowance quite a bit. This is something I need to curb now, before I slip into bad habits. I do not want to maintain, or even worse gain, on my first week. I need to have a good loss this week, to motivate me even more.

I really feel like I have let myself down this weekend. I've gone over my Syns allowance quite a bit, and I really regret it. This is my first week back on plan, I need to have a good result at weigh in on Tuesday.

I am drawing a line under this, and not going to dwell on it. Everyone has their off days, and I'm sure 2 out of 7 can't be too bad (hopefully!!)
 
Day 6, Extra Easy: 03/10/11

So, after a few careless days at the weekend, I am pulling myself together today and drawing a line under the naughtiness!

Weigh in is tomorrow night, so from now until then it's lots of Superfree and strictly 110% on plan. I keep saying it, but I really am determined to have a good loss this week. Fingers crossed!

So, tonight is Weigh In!! I am excited, but nervous at the same time.

I feel really good today, and have a sudden burst of energy. I'm thinking this is no coincidence - the benefits of Food Optimising are starting to kick in again :D

Weigh In: Week One

I did it!!!!

Not 1, not 2, not even 3 or 4..but a whopping 5 and a half pounds off on my first weigh in!! I am sooo happy.

I have also officially set my christmas goal tonight too, by placing my 'bauble' on the christmas tree at class. My goal is 'I want to have lost 21lb before Christmas' :)

I am hoping to have another great week this week, and am hoping for a loss of 1.5lb next week, in order for me to get my half stone award!

Hoping everyone else has had a really good week too xx

I am SO impressed with your weight loss, hon! Well done and thrilled for you! I've lost, as well, I can tell from clothes that now feel more comfy, but I haven't got weighed. If I have scales in the house I become obsessive and with 3 daughters, ( young adults) , I try not 2 go down this road... But am doin well, getting loads of help from this site and following SW well.... Let's all go forth and shrink!! X

Wow, well done to you too on your loss! Isn't it such a great feeling? I'm sure if we carry on the way we have, we'll be exactly where we want to be in no time! :D

I totally, 100% agree about the scales. It can become so obsessive and dangerous! Our scales are now hidden - I was once at the stage where I was weighing myself constantly. Even if I got up to use the toilet in the middle of the night, I'd jump on the scales. It's definitely a bad habbit to fall into, and now the scales are only going to come out if for some reason I am unable to make class.

Hey, well done on your first fantastic week! Great loss, you're well on your way to meeting your Christmas goal now :) Try not to worry about those odd little days were you go over your syns. You haven't used them all on other days and I imagine that's why you got the great loss - it all evens out.

Your weight loss is amazing! It's really inspirational to see such great losses on here. You're not too far from your target now, I'm sure you'll be there in no time!! :D

Day 8, Extra Easy: 05/10/11

Good morning all! As you can see from my previous posts, I had weigh in last night and lost 5½lbs!! :D

I am feeling amazing. This first loss has given me even more motivation, and I'm sure I'll be at my Christmas mini-target with no problems!

I'm hoping for another great week this week, although I know I am going out on Saturday night, and possibly Friday too. In preparation for this, I am going to be really good all week. I'm going to stick to plan 100%, and try to restrict my Syns in order to save them for the weekend. I would be thrilled with a 1½lb loss this week, as it would mean I'd have reached my half stone milestone! :)

Today I'm feeling a bit crap. Last night I had to go to the doctors to get my contraceptive impant taken out, and a new one put in. I was so scared, and it hurt like hell!! I cried my eyes out. My mam couldn't believe the state I was in, due to having multiple tattoos and piercings, but it's hard to explain. Today my arm is so sore, and I can only move it very slowly. I feel like crying, it is that sore.

I am not going to let this knock me off plan though. I am sticking to it 100%, as I am going out for a few drinks tomorrow, and then out again on Saturday night. I am trying to eat plenty of Superfree and restrict my Syns so that I can use them for Vodka/Malibu and Diet Coke when I do go out.

Day 10, Extra Easy: 07/10/11

Feeling so good today! It's "Jeans for Genes" day at work today, so I'm wearing my River Island Denim Shorts over a pair of tights. The best thing being, they are a size 16 and loose!! :D They used to be so tight on me (I always find RI sizes are small fitting anyway), but they slipped on perfectly this morning, with plenty of room. I feel so confident in them :)

Am going to be extra good today, and try not too use many Syns. I am going out for a few drinks tonight with Sas, who I haven't seen since before my holidays. I will save my Syns for Malibu and Diet Coke.

I am ecstatic!! Today on my lunch break I popped into River Island to try on a dress for tomorrow night. I have had my eye on it for a while, and after fitting into my size 16 shorts this morning, it encouraged me to go and get it. The fantastic thing is...it's a size 14!! Woohooo. Tried the 16 on and it was huge on me, far too baggy and not hanging properly. The 14 is perfect! Wow, it feels so good - my day is getting better and better! I'm even more excited to go out tomorrow, knowing that I'll have my lovely size 14 dress on!!

It's a fab feeling when previously tight clothes fit! Well done! Hope your arm feels less sore. Enjoy yr catch up and drink tonight!
