Hi. It's day one of many re-starts and i'm feeling really scared in case i fail again but really excited cos i'm doing something about it. I've been going to go back for weeks but have found every excuse not to. Today i actually really want to. I've done SW and every other diet many times but never managed to lose more than the odd stone. Totally my fault not the diets. No excuses there.
Bit about me: I'm 52 married with 3 kids and 3 gorgeous grandkids. I'm off work on long time sick after an op and have become a proper couch potato. I've lost all confidence, dont want to socialise or even go out if i dont have to. I want to get the real me back. I miss her!! Ideally i'd like to lose 4 stone but i'm gonna break it down into smaller goals and take it a day at a time.
I've been reading on here that keeping a diary is a great way to stay motivated so i thought i'd give it a go starting on day one. Sure it will really help even if it's just for myself and noboby else reads it but i would also be very grateful for any advice support and kicks up the bum when needed. Here goes!!
