Of having 'bad days'.

I start the day with good intentions and then my mum will offer me a takeaway or high syn dessert and I'll just give in and then continue to binge eat my way through anything in the cupboard! I also plan 'bad days' for example if I am going out for a meal or something. I have just swapped scales too and there is a 10lb difference to the ones I have been using :(

I just wondered how people manage to incorporate treats/meals out into their daily lives without going off track. And what motivates people to say no to things?!

Thanks for reading

I think that knowing we can choose a 'flexi day' gives us the opportunity to have a meal out or night out if thats our plan. As long as you get back on plan after.

Personally, I feel that if I really want something that bad (i.e. to do well on SW), I'll find the willpower to do it.

its easy to get back into bad habbitd I know i do.

Am back to club after my holiday and have an aim to lose a stone by my works do on 2nd dec.

always think a mini realistic goal helps me. just need to be sensible while I am away so i not got loads more to lose!!

xx

Hi ladies

I agree with LisaC the will to lose weight is your motivation, I still love crisps so I either make my own or count the syn value, I generally try to have as few syns throughout the day as I know my crisis time is at night then if I want a biscuit or something I know I can have one. Its really a case of finding your feet.

I've got a money box and for everytime I lose the amount I've lost goes in the tin ready for a treat, at first I planned a shopping spree but as you take this journey you'll find your clothes need to be replaced so now I'm thinking along the lines of a makeover and photoshoot :) - thats my motivation all that money at the end of my journey.

Brilliant idea! :)

the moneybox is a good idea! Going to try that one :) xx

Hi Tazzy its one of those ones where you need a tin opener to open it, so even if you wanted to you can't get into without ruining the tin. I love shaking it now and hearing all those pound coins and 50 pence pieces dancing about I imagine they're cheering me on lol :D

im the same i start off all great intentions. do great through the day then bordem or feeling fedup sets in on a nite time. im trying to distract mysef at minute reading books watching films. ive missed bootcamp this morning so feeling like ive done bad as daft as that sounds. ive done nothing but eat today all on plan but feeling like ive stuffed my face lol. i have to say only way i can say no is when its willpower mind over matter. you gotta want this to work. ive just come back to sw after being off for a while and gutted to have gained almost most of my losses. so back to classes trying to stick to plan again. xxx
