Feel Cheated

Cheekypasterfield

Rather comfy here
Morning All

This morning is my weigh in and I jumped on the scales all eager to see a 1lb lost to only see 0.2lb (1/4lb) loss. I feel so cheated! I wouldn't have minded had i been.'naughty' but.....

I've exercised everyday (which is new for me) doing the 30 Day Shred, I've stayed within all my daily points, had my usual 49 weeklies and didn't eat my activity points, so there isn't a reason as to why I didn't get a pound loss.

I think what is also depressing is that I've now got another 7 days to work and wait to see if I have a better loss. That feels such a long away!

Rant over and so far tears kept in

Oh thats rubbish when that happens.
I reckon its the exercise - muscles retain water when you first start exercising (to protect themselves) - even if it slows down your weight loss just think how lovely and toned you will be.

I feel exactly the same cheekypasterfield :(

Not had a loss for nearly 3 weeks now although been sticking to the plan. I do feel better though which is the only thing that is keeping me going.

7 days does feel a long way away, but in the grand scheme of weight loss it isn't long. Your loss will catch up with you, you are putting the effort in and will be rewarded for it :)

Keep smiling and don't give up x

Thank you both ] x

I did have a look at my measurements and in the 11 days of doing the 30 Day shred I've lost a total of 5.5inches so I should focus on the positive.

Im gonna aim to drink more water this week, make sure every mouthful is counted for and keep the exercising going.

Part of me wants to give up the exercising as I didn't get a reflection on the scales but I did get inches and i must remember that.

Right let's kick some fat to the curb hahaha

I think it's quite common when starting an exercise plan that your weight falters - its probably your body protesting and hanging on to what it can lol! It's good you're measuring yourself though, as it's the inches that really matter isnt it! That should be motivation to get you through the next week, and then hopefully your weight loss shoud start to catch up with your effort. Well done though - i tried the 30 day shred and just couldn't commit to it!

Hi cheeky . That happened me last week and i was so disheartened cos id put my heart into it but i kept going and lost 4 lb ths wk. I said it to my leader and she said to look at a 4 wk picture instead of wk by wk and that over 4 wks it balances out because of pms etc. Hope this helps x
