Back to "normal"!

BMI that is... I'm still absolutely barking mad in every other way! :p

I just slipped down to 11st 5lbs as of this morning's weigh-in, which for my height takes me out of "overweight" and into "normal" (or "healthy") ... isn't it a lovely feeling when you cross a BMI boundary! :winner:

I'm SO happy... words can't do it justice but I reckon most of you reading this know that feeling! :party0011::party0011::party0011::party0011:

I still have a way to go to lose the jelly-belly and back-fat (oooh, don't I sound sexeh! :8855:) but I'm already down almost 2 clothes sizes, the inches are shifting faster than the pounds in fact because on the way "up" I wasn't yet fitting into these sizes at this weight. :hmm:

I tried and failed a few times before to lose this weight and didn't get past the first few days, so if you're reading this and have had a bad week, or weekend, don't give up!!! ;)

Onwards! :superwoman:

Congratulations!!! That must be a great feeling. I can only imagine since it'll be a long time til I'm 'notmal'!

Hope you're feeling proud of yourself- that's a great achievement!

You'll get there, just keep going, don't let slips throw you off-track, and make sure you find positive ways to support yourself - even if they seem a bit silly! ;)

I downloaded this free desktop "sticker" from timeleft.info that sits at the top of my monitor on top of all the other programs' windows, and every time the scales drop I work out what percentage of my goal I've achieved, and edit the sticker with that + amount lost - I find that FAR more positive and productive than looking at the lbs still to go!

I'm SO lucky I caught this before I gained much more, but there are so many inspiring stories in the before and after pages here, that just prove once and for all that anyone can do this, no matter where they start out. :superwoman:

And I think for all of us that daily, even hourly battle within ourselves, to say "yes" to the right things and even more importantly "no" to the wrong things, and to deal with fatigue, boredom, frustration, jealousy (at thin people who seem to be able to eat anything they want, etc) and so on is the same no matter where we start or where we end up. :hmm:

(Last night I would seriously have torn someone's arm off for a bag of crisps and a hunk of cheddar... but, fed myself a thin sliver of Stilton and a bran cracker, and kept thinking about fitting into my skinny jeans by New Year's Eve!:8855:)

Congratulations!! You must feel amazing, well done!

I also reached 'Normal' today for the first time in my life :D I have always been overweight or obese since childhood so I am so happy that I am finally in a healthy weight range! I feel like telling the whole world lol!! Thankfully I have you guys and I know you understand ;)

Well done! That's fantastic!

Thanks!! :thankyou:

So excited about it... I still have a way to go and of course things are slowing down a bit now, but just keeping going, every week I've been writing down a list of things I learned that week, because I don't want to have to do this all again next spring... ;)

Well done Morrigan, that's AWESOME!

I was a scrawny, frail kid, really ill all the time, and sometimes that inner image of me as too thin (which I was until I was about 15) creeps out and sabotages me taking weightloss seriously, 15 years of brainwashing in which every bite of food was important makes it hard to accept going to bed hungry some nights, or whatever... :hmm:
