craving chinese

metrognome

is getting better at it
am really starting to think about chinese food alot just lately but cant have the real thing as it plays havoc with my ibs so am going to have a good long look in here to see if there are any nice recipes,
if anyone has any nice ones they can reccomend that would be good while i am looking
thanks

There's a sweet sour recipe in here, and my egg fried rice is in it.

Chow mien is easy, just any recipe, using frylite instead of oil.

Singapore noodles, google that and same applies, you can adapt any recipe, with frylite, adding more veg for 1/3 if need be.
Stir fry chicken with bean sprouts. X

I always make a veggie chow mein....any vegggies u fancy,i use baby corn, mush, broc, carrots, peas onion, fried lightly in frylight.Add some chinese 5 spice or noodle seasoning i buy in asda although its quite salty so go easy! Then add abit of garlic and soy sauce and simmer for a few mins then add your noodles...a good takeaway fix and syn free x

Made this last night, slightly high in Syns if you use the stir-fry sauce but oh so nice!..............

120g Amoy Chow Mein Stir-Fry Sauce 8.5 Syn
1 tsp Sunflower Oil 2Syn
½ onions
½ red onions
200g peas
200g green beans
½ red peppers
Runny honey
Light soy sauce

Method

Place the salmon in a shallow dish, cover the salmon in light soy sauce & runny honey, and cover in Clingfilm and leave to marinade.

Preheat the grill and cook the Salmon for 5-10 mins each side.

In the meantime heat the wok and spray with sunflower oil, add the veg & cook for 5 mins, add the noodles and stir-fry sauce and cook for a further 5mins.

Plate up and place the salmon on top, serve with a salad.
