Hey all, i tried slimmng world a couple of years back and lost a bit of weight but put it all back on. Now i am ready for another go as i am fed up with my weight.

I cant get to classes and dont want the online version so just trying it myself. This website seems great, so will be using it to post my weight and to keep me motivated.

I find all the stories so helpful and the advise on food is invaluable for someone not going to classes.

I started last monday and weighed 17st 9lbs which is the heaviest i have been. Since this, i have started well and yesterday weighed in at 17st 3lbs, so 6lbs lost.

Very pleased with the start but long way to go and i know i will find it tough at times. As a busy guy working long hours,it can be tough, but hopefully the help from this site will help me reach my goal of 199lbs by Xmas.

Hopefully keeping a diary will also help me...

Cheers

Also, i used to mainly do red days, but all i see now is extra easy. I used to understand how red days worked but not so sure about extra easy. Will try and get my head round it.

So quick menu for today was...

Breakfast - muller light, apple and coffee
Lunch - chicken tikka pieces with salad
Dinner - sw sausage hotpot with green beans

This is a fairly standard type of menu for me, is it ok? I like special k red berries, could i add that to the breakfast?

I'm doing the original plan from my first time on Sw back in 2004 !!! I do 4 red and 3 green days bur very rarely use sins !!! I also did 1/2 hour workout each day . Using that plan I lost 8+ st in just over a year and went from mens 50 waist to a 34 !!!! U fortunately after keeping it off for about 3-4 years I have out back on about 7 st !!!!! I've just started again after gettin sone of original 2004 recipe books on eBay !!!!! This time I'm keepin it off !!!!!! Best of luck to you on your journey !!! Ken
