Thought I'd share this with anyone who likes curry! My husband found a website called 123curry who sell curry mixes all ready - instead of using jars and pastes you get the spices already mixed for you in a pack. For example, you can buy a pack of the spices needed for masala and it's about £3, the pack makes about 15 curries!

Just thought I'd share as it makes the curries pretty much calorie free apart from the meat and veg you put in! Seems more cost effective than buying all spices separately like we used to do too :)

aldi's curry powder is pretty good is also has calories per 100g listed too most currie powders dont which is annoying when your cc. i make my curry with powder and sundried tom paste which is in oil but i make a big pot devide into servings freeze the ones not needed there and then on average its comes to below 200 cals per serving which means i can have a mini naan and mini bhaji too lol:)

Patak's garlic or lime pickles on GG Bran crispbreads (or Ryvita or whatever) are great, they satisfy my occasional curry-cravings and say 30g Patak's garlic pickle (226cals/100g) = 80cals. :)
