Please can someone confirm whether 85g Ricotta still counts as a HEXA on green? I seem to remember it being either an "a" or "b" choice, but now can only find 85g listed as as a "b".

This came up before, the Asda Ricotta one is listed as 85g on HEXA but there's no generic one listed for some reason.

Thanks Ermintrude. I've looked up the nutritional value of the ASDA one ASDA Ricotta (250g) in ASDA | mySupermarket and it's 130 cals per 100g, with 10g fat & 7.5 protein. Mine is 150 cals, 12g fat and 7.5 protein. I feel I might need to reduce the portion size. Using a calculator I reckon 73g, rather than 85g should do the trick. Sometimes I have no choice but to "cheat" a little as I don't have access to UK products

But it is the calcium content that will determine whether it is a HEa surely?

Yes, I suppose strictly speaking. I'll see how I go with it and if I think the Ricotta's not helping, I'll look at changing to something else. It is nice, though

Woohoo! I've found a ricotta that's 101 cals, 7g protein and 6.5g of fat for 100g.

And as for calcium content, it would appear that the lower the fat content, the higher it is in calcium (see here http://www.livestrong.com/article/264143-ricotta-cheese-nutrition/ )

Woo which is the mystery ricotta? I used the Tesco one on Sat for my tandoori baked stuffed potatoes, yum But I cheated and pretended Asda made it so it could be a HEX, mwahaha

Sorry Ermintrude, it"s a French brand and probably not available in the UK. There might be others, though, that rival the ASDA one? At the end of the day, it can't make that much difference, surely? Or is it a tweak too far!
