Nom nom. That sounds yummy-I'm using naughty sausages too only because I've got some on the freezer. Thanks for letting me know how to make the batter. Lol.

120g flour = 22 syns

2 eggs = free
quarter of litre of milk = 6 syns for semi skimmed (or 1 HEXA) (9 syns for whole milk/4 syns for skimmed)

So about 28 syns if you're using semi skimmed.

And that's before you add the sausages.

OMG! :) Thanks Erm. :)

Try this link Claire - 1 syn Yorkies recipe that can also be adapted to make a 10 syn toad in the hole (plus syns on sausies of course).

I use Morrison's Eat Well pork sausies at 0.5 syns each - not the same as the "real deal" but a better one than most and sure beats 5 syns EACH for my faves - thick pork Richmonds - I can see how I got so fat!!

There's quite a few lower syn versions on here if you do Advanced Search (go to the blue triple bar, third from the right in the top row) and search for "Toad in the Hole" in "Slimming World Recipes"

here

or here

or here

So there's loads of slightly better synned ones if you look around. Its the flour that's the killer, 4.5 syns for 28g. :(

Thanks for that. I normally use my phone and can't see how to search on it. :S

I think my dinner may have been very high syn'd! Will exercise doubly hard tomorrow.

If you use asda own packet mix of batter for 7p the whole pack is only 12 syns. I tend to make it into 12 separate Yorkies hen freeze them.

Thanks for that-got to make a roast dinner on sunday so will use that to make the Yorkies. :)

I preseume that you mean that the packet of Asda batter mix is 12 syns when made up as it is made with an egg and water. Hope so as 1 syn per Yorkie pud is FAB !
