Hi all and if you read this then thank you.

Well this is my first ever diary and I'm really dreading doing it so I hope it helps.

I'm female, 31, 5ft 4, & 11 stones I have been told my daily pp is 29 I hope this is correct.

Well today is my last day of freedom of chocolate. I know I can still eat it by doing ww but because I have a problem like getting to be a chocoholic and I'm not joking I'm not going to use it in my plan the only time I'm going to have a bar and that's just a wafer bar is on Sunday. Also if I do exercise I will treat myself to 2 Jaffa cake biscuits. Well I just made the most of my last booster chocolate cake yum yum.

I have even told my bf that when we go shopping not to let me buy any chocolates or cakes I'm mean really fatty cakes not the ww they are ok lol.

So here goes my plan starts tomorrow. I did weigh myself this morning and actually I lost 1lb it must have been all the decorating I've been doing lol.

I may need some help with points because I was going to go to one class next week but there isn't one near me and don't drive :(

I have a couple of questions:

Do you have to use all your daily pp? I no you can't carry any over. Also do you have to use the 49 weekly points?

Also I have a tin of fruit the weight is 410g this includes the juice it only shows per 100g can anyone tell me how many points are for 1/2 a tin or how to work it out: protein 0.3g, carbohydrates 15g, fat trace, fibre 1g

Its advisable to use ur daily points becoz thats the minimum for ur bkdy to survive on, u dont have to use ur weeklys some people do some dont. Personally i do it gives me a better loss . As for the tinned fruit if u drain the juice its free if u dont then u do have to work it out do u have a calculator ? X

Hiya chug, well done on getting started. Think I answered your question on discovery or pp, so you decided on pp.

On the dailies like Hollie says definately try and use them all. It'll probably take a while to get it to a tee but you will. As for the weeklies maybe start off using them all and see how you go, then adjust. I use mine sometimes and sometimes I only use some but I never use none lol. Thanks for both your replies and encouragement.

Hollie - re the can of fruit that is good if it's free when drained but I think I will have to have it with the juice I'm finding it so hard to use the 29 points lol. I do have a calculator which I found online I can use it to work out the 100g but don't know how to work out the 410g.

MrsLmc - yes I took your advice thank you very much I will see how I get on with pp.

Ok I forgot to ask earlier I worked out pp for a crab stick and it was 0 so does that mean if I 3 it will stil be 0 or will it be 1 because on the old plan it was 3 for 1/2 p?
 
With the crab stick multiply all the things (fat, protein and so on) by 3 and then put into that calculator. As with your others yes they are all free. All fruit is free and all veg bar spud, parsnip, avacado a
are pp's. Hope this helps. I would say 3 crab stick are 1pp though...x
 
Well my day has gone well so far I managed to eat my 29 pps and I actually feel full up. The good thing now if I feel I want something to eat I can have some fruit and not to worry about points. I'm now going to prepare my partners food for work and sort out my kitchen cupboard to stop me craving food lol.
 
Well here I am day 2 and I'm still surviving. I managed to eat my 29 points again today and again I'm full and still I haven't broke into my weekly 49 points. I nearly did because I fancied a cherry bakewell but then I saw how many points it was and it soon changed my mind I will save it for the weekend. I was really pleased with myself today I went into my local shop and I didn't pick a bar of chocolate up it was hard but it was a good feeling when I came out lol. I'm trying to plan what to eat next week hmmmm.

Also I'm very excited because I have just ordered my shopping book for Propoints so I can go shopping with it and know straight away how many points things are rather than wait at home.

Day 3 here I come.
 
Yipee for a second successful day and surviving your first test hehe.

The cravings for bad things seem to ease after a few days.

And you are super organised planning next week already. I seem to do it day to day. I plan every night what to eat the next day, write it down and usually change it 100 times, but it gives me a fair idea of my point usage.

I just had to have a couple of grapes cos I started to feel hungry because around now I normally eat the biscuits and I so don't want to go into my extra points lol. Gosh I hate cravings lol.

Yes I'm a supper planner lol I have to really because I only go food shopping on Thursday cos I don't drive and I have a lift so I have to plan what Im going to eat so I can have everything ready. At the moment I don't have much in my cupboards because I emptied them before starting ww lol otherwise I would be eating everything. Thats why now I pay for my food only and my bf pays for his so then I can't eat his because his paid for it. Even when he offers I say no cos I would feel guilty eating his food lol.

I tried planning my food on the day but then I find I can't eat all my points because Im trying to save as much as possible lol.

I was thinking about weekly points and was going to try to avoid using them and only use as emergency or if someone brings cake into work what do you all think? I don't do exercise because i get carried away with exercise and I worry that my weight will turn into muscle and that is heavier than fat hmm what to do.

Hiya here to give my 2 cents worth AGAIN lol!

If I were you I'd start out using all 49 and see how you go. If the weight loss is slow drop a few from the 49 and see what happens. You might be luck and be one of the ones that needs them hehe. Also don't worry about the exercise, you really would have to be doing a serious amount of exercise to develope visable muscles. If you do some exercise you will develope a little muscle, muscle burns fat quicker so it helps you weight loss and makes you trimmer looking.

See I know all this but its hard to implement it for myself lol. Please do whatever you feel is right for you and feel free to pay little to no attention to me (no one else does hehe) xxx good luck for day 4 and Yippee that you feel slimmer xx
 
Don't worry you can give me as much advice you like I will never ignore it or take offence I actually appreciate peoples advice. Can I save all my weekly points and eat them over 2 days? I might leave the weekly points this week cos I'm just curious to see if I loose anything.

Your doing really well keep up the good work. If I try to give you advice and it's rubbish then please feel free to tell me as you are much better at ww than me.
 
I love a good bit of advice. Don't worry tell me anything good our bad it all helps.

As with the weeklies, some people use a little everyday, some use them over the weekend. I tend to use mine in one night at the weekend....maybe a meal out, or bottle of wine and take away. Do what you feel will work best for you. I know I struggle to use my dailies so I never use weeklies during the week. Sometimes on a Friday I feel the week is long and I'm waining so I have a night off and get a bottle of wine and treat. Othertimes I get to Sunday before I fancy something. They are great to have and I feel like they are there to give me a break from the diet. Its nice to be able to sit down with the family and just have chips and a burger with them. I've a daughter and I want to teach her that its okay to eat rubbish if you balance it out over the week.
