Tuna and Mackerel Paté

Hi All .. not sure if anyone has posted anything similar .. had a quick search!

Fab for PP days and packed lunches and snacks. And well easy!

Ingredients:
1 x tin tuna in brine
3-4 smoked mackerel fillets (skin removed)
100g quark
dollop of FF fromage frais
pepper
paprika
drop of lemon juice

How:
Mash up tuna and mackerel in a bowl with a little of the tuna brine.
Plonk in everything else
Mix it all about :)
Sprinkle a bit more paprika on top

I keep it in the fridge for 2-3 days and have a couple of spoonfulls as and when I fancy it!

For PV days I add spring onion or red onion.
For other variation (to stave off boredom!) I add chopped crab sticks / roasted garlic / herbs & spices / chilli / roasted courgette / mashed boiled egg / basa fillets (baked and cooled) / smoked salmon .. though not necessarily all at the same time :D Sometimes I mix in my oatbran if I've not had it elsewhere in my meals.

I can vouch for this it is absolutely lovely and lasts for quite a while in the fridge. Feels like a "luxury" dukan recipe. Thanks chica!

I ate mine on a savoury galette.
