Hi, I recently bought a directory off eBay which was listed as a 2011. I have received it today and it's a 2009 copy :(
If anyone else is looking at getting some sw stuff please double check everything. Listing on this was down as 2011. There is still some sellers selling the 2009 as 2011.

Grrr hate eBay at the best of times due to sellers like this

Give them bad feedback & report them to Ebay, make a Paypal claim if you can too. I have a 2011 copy if you want to buy it from me? Make me an offer via PM.

I can't send a pm I'm on my phone but if you can send me one and how much you want that would be great

I have opened a case but they are saying that they bought it this year. Even though it has 2009 written down the side and inside. I could only open a case through eBay not paypal not sure why.
 
I reported another user on eBay too as they are doing the same thing. I can't believe people think they can get away with stuff like this.
 
This is really poor... Did the upload a picture of the directory the 2009 directory or the 2011?

You pay a premium for these on eBay as it is without receiving a 2009 bool when they've said it's 2011

Yeah it was a 2009 directory pictured, Im new to this so didnt realise.The design is the same minus the 2011 has the date pictured underneath the 09 has it on the side.

I had a response from the seller saying as far as she was aware it was purchased earlier this year! Nothing else. I wish SW would sell the books for a premium to non members. All i want to do is stick to plan :(
 
Take a photo of it and use it as evidence it is NOT the same as the picture in the ebay ad. Get a screengrab of that too if it's still there. Get your money back through complaints process. It takes forever but people like this are arseholes :mad:
 
I know, eBay tends to be full of them. I have photo's of the book and told them this, just waiting on reply.
Is there a part of this forum where you can buy/sell stuff? Think it would be a good addition if not. Especially for books.
