Men on SW

Hello all you wonderfully knowledgable slimmers, I was wondering whether there's a different plan for men following SW?

My boyfriend has been doing SW along with me, and we eat the same things as we both work from home. I've been losing steadily but he's hit a brick wall and is getting very down about it. I'm wondering if perhaps he's not eating enough, we have on average 12-15 syns a day and he doesn't feel hungry.

Should he be eating more? I know men need more calories than women but I haven't heard of a modified plan for men like there's one for breastfeeding women with the extra HEXs...

Anyone got any tips? :) thank you! X

There's no difference at all. As we can have as much free food as we want, if a man has a bigger appetite he can eat more.
I've known some men be given more syns but then I've known it for women too.

If he's hit a plateau then I'd suggest the same as I would for a woman, more superfree, more speed and superspeed and mix the meals up a bit.

If he's not hungry then there's no need to eat more, it may have the opposite effect. Just try to change meals around a bit and eat some of the things suggested above.

Thank you, I didn't think there was anything different but was just pondering :) just got my book out and we're going to go and buy some ss/sf food. I'll try switching things up, we usually do green and EE days so maybe he's more of a red kinda guy :)

Thanks again

There's no difference at all - OH joined SW at the same time as me and follows the plan in the same way that I do, apart from the fact that he loses far more than me each week! But apparently men do generally lose weight quicker on SW than women do.

Funnily enough we have the opposite problem. I've been losing weight steadily over the last few months, but in the same period my wife has lost 7 lbs. Mostly (apart from lunch) we eat the same thing. Genuinely don't understand it as she swears blind she's not been cheating.

If you OH has hit a wall I think it would be a good idea to mix it up a bit and try new things as you say.
