Clothes - looking to the future :)

although in my mind to me it doesnt look as if i have lost weight, i go back to uni in just over 3 weeks, well i NEED new clothes because 99% dont fit properly now or are quite loose, which means for my birthday ill probably getting new clothes as my birthdays in early october... but tbh i dont really plan on coming back before christmas and i need to save money which means i probably wont get any clothes until christmas, to me this poses a problem as its like a 3 month gap with means i should lose atleast 3 hopefully 4stone...which means my clothes cant fit, and you can only get away with belts and such for so long. and if everything goes well i should be near goal weight, which means the clothes near christmas will become looser...and tbh i want nice fitting clothes when i am at goal...i really dunno what to do about the clothes situation, obviously i gotta wait the longest possible to get the clothes for uni, but then i am stuck :(

I am planning on doing my clothes shopping at charity shops whilst I go through the stones...then hopefully take them back every 6 or so weeks and change them for a smaller size. I know I will have a very limited wardrobe during that time, but I can then splash out on a nice wardrobe when I am at target.

Try eBay Hun cheap an cheerful or as lellylion says charity shops xxx

supermarket clothes are reasonable too - go to the bigger stores for better choice. Leggings and tunics would be good - legging stretchy and tunics hide a multitude of sins!!! Jeans with stretch - you can wash and tumble dry so they shrink a wee bit.

Happy shopping :)

Well done Lennylion, I am there with you!! Really want to succeed this time, I have fallen on and off the diet wagon too many times.!! How much did you loose in your first week? Tasha x

I have bought all my clothes from charity shops on the way down .. if you go to a nice area , posh suburb , you can get some amazing things for next to nothing :D no point spending a fortune of clothes you may only be in for a few weeks !!!

lol missbiker I doubt I would suite leggings :p and call me a snob but I really don't fancy charity shops, but I guess if needs must!

yeah maybe, it sounds bad but where I go to uni, the people there are definitely not feeling the students lack of money and I can't believe I'm 19 and saying this but I have to look decent, kinda peer pressure lool
