Food glorious food .....

Ok ... so ass truly kicked :whoopass: Here is the food diaries to keep me on the straight and narrow :p


Ok ... So kind of started on Tuesday, but did have one minor slip up:

Tuesday - Red day

Breakfast:

2 x Weetabix (HexB) topped with chopped banana and some of my 250ml SS milk (HexA)

Cup of tea


Dinner:

Aldi chicken tikka breast peices, pear, muller light (mandarin 0.5 sysn so i`ve just found out :cry:), tin of Diet Coke.


Tea:

Chicken breast (fresh oven cooked chicken) mixed leaf salad, cherry toms, and chips ... done SW way (with skin on) 112g (raw weight) oven baked with a bit of fry light. (4 syns)

Mug of Options - (Crackling Hazelnut) - 1.5 syns ... Made with my 2nd HexA, 250ml SS milk (sometimes i use it through the day for milk in my tea, other times i save it for a creamy choccy indulgence on an evening)

So syn total = 6 syns .... but major fail today was eating the crispy skin off the chicken breast ... no idea what syns it was and could have bloody kicked myself, it was a genuine *forgot moment* !!!


Wednesday - Red day

Breakfast:

2 x Weetabix (HexB) topped with chopped banana and some of my 250ml SS milk (HexA) .. The rest of my milk i use through the day in my tea.


Cup of tea

Dinner:

Ham, leafy mixed salad, cucumber, cottage cheese (uber low fat Aldi one). Muller rice (choccy and vanila sprinkle .. still free thank heavens), Drink of water. Cup of Tea.


Tea:

Slow cooked lean beef, with any fat cut off, done in the slow cooker with 2 stock cubes and a sprinkle of oxo. Tesco frozen mash (100g - 5 syns) i had 150g so 7.5 syns.

A handful of strawberries, a pear and a drink of tea.


Then i caved and got a multi-pack flake out of the cupboard - 7 syns

So syn total = 14.5
 
It still shows that you can have some chocolate and stay within yr syns!

Hi Daisy, ive kicked my ass into gear too after weighing myself yesterday!

Your diary is looking good, i dont eat enough fruit
 
Thursday - Red day

Dinner:

Ham, cherry toms, cottage cheese, cucumber, rocket salad.

Strawb and honey dew melon medley.
Muller light cherry.

Bottle of water

Tea:

Lean mince beef stew, carrots, onion ... cooked in the slow cooker with a stock cube, 3 slices of nimble wholemeal (1 HexB + 2.5 syns).

Cup of Tea

Also had my 2nd HexA in the form of 200 ml SS milk, warmed up, and a Options Cracking Hazelnut 1.5 syns mixed in, works soooo well for that sweet chocolatey hit at supper time.

So total syns for the day = 4

Wow cheers guys ... didn`t think anyone would actually read it lolol ... Just wanted to make myself write it down, read it back, and be culpable for what i`m eating. I may update todays a bit later if i end up having something after tea ... Good luck to you guys as well xx
 
Thats why i like to keep mine too! I never thought people would bother but for some reason...we do! And it's good support!!!

Friday - Green day

Breakfast:


2 x Weetabix (HexB) topped with chopped banana and some of my 250ml SS milk (HexA)

Cup of Tea (x 2 this morning) ... hardly any milk tho as i ran out and need to go to the shops lol :rolleyes:

Dinner:

Dried Pasta, with 1 mini-tub of phili light mixed in (2.5 syns), and chopped cucumber, mmmmmmm so good.
Muller light vanilla and choc sprinkles. and strawb and melon medley.

Bottle of water.

Cup of tea ... can of Diet Coke, and a pear

Tea: (is gonna be)

Omlette (cooked in fry light), beans and 2 x Bannisters Ready Baked Taties (used one HexB for the tbsp of oil on 1 tatie and 6 sysn for the other)

Nom nom nom nom nom ..... This has to be my faaaaaaaavouritist food day ever ever ever :D


Edited for a slight change in tea-time plans, + i now have a HexA spare for a hot choccy Options later if i want it (1.5 syns).


Syns as it is = 8.5 syns
Syns with Options = 10 syns

Well with-in allowance either way ... bonus

Ok .... so i fell off the waggon and got run over by it ... never mind, tomorrow`s a new day, line drawn under it.


Brekkie: (started off well)

2 X Weetabix .. chopped banana, some of my 250 ml SS milk. Cup of tea .....


Dinner:

Erm .... Scotch egg (with out the egg, don`t like boiled egg .. eewww) Dipped in Tom sauce. With some Ham. One half of a twix type bar (Lidls own brand, hubs and i shared it)

Tea:

Chicken Chow mein and chinese chips with a slice of bread and butter (well Marg actually).

Ok ... so weekend written off completely ... Tbh i screwed it up when i got on the scales yesterday morning to find i was 1lb heavier even after 5 days of being good .... I know, i know, but i think i`m a bit hormonal and i just put a big fat *FCUK* it on it ... Ah well ... tomorrow is a new day, and i have fresh fruit prepared, and an appointment with the docs on tuesday as i know my thyroid meds are all to pot ... Giving me bad blood test results, and making me feel ill ... So one thing at a time for now.
 
I have been poorly, stint in hospital, various tests, not been able to exercise (problems with heart) and having to take new meds ... weight has gone up :(

Feeling down, tried to get back on track last week ... but just kept blowing out all day .... aaarrggghhh so mad with myself, how do i get back on track and get my mojo back ?
 
Ok ... so just under a year down the line, heart sorted, thyroid meds sorted .... back up to 9st 13lbs so ready to tackle it again ....

Red day:

2 x weetabix for brekkie with strawbs, blueberries and sliced banana. SS milk (Hex-A)

2 small gammon steaks for lunch with all the fat gristle cut off, salad.


Dinner was a leek and onion omelette with baby iceburg lettuce leaves and cucumber, with mini phili light tub (2.5 syns)


I`ve had a crackling hazelnut options (1.5 sysns).

2 x coffee (milk from Hex-A) ... 1 bottle of water and 1 glass of no sugar Robinsons juice.


4 syns used so far.
 
Slowly and steady away .... day 3 ... and i have stuck to it, even through the temptation of fast food (damn you Maccy D`s) .... and i`ve stayed well with in my syns, and made sure i`m drinking enough ... proud of myself for doing 3 days at 100% .......

Monday morning i was 9st 13 7/8lbs (near as damn it 10st) ...... so we`ll see where we are in a few days.
 
Tuesday .... :

2 x weetabix with strawbs, banana, blueberries. - Coffee (milk - SS HexA)

Egg (fry light fried) minus the yolks, 3 rashers lean bacon, 2 nimble wholemeal, small tinned tomatoes.
Muller light cran/rasp (yummy)

Banana ...... Robinsons juice

Bacon sarnie (nimble 5 syns for 2 slices) ..... tesco cheese curls (3.5 syns). Coffee & Single Time Out bar (4 syns).



Weds:

2 x weetabix with strawbs, banana, blueberries. - Coffee (milk - SS HexA) .... (just love this for brekkie, never get bored of it)

Bacon sarnie (2 lean rashers) & 2 Nimble wholemeal HexB) - Time Out bar (4 syns) - Coffee.

Robinsons Juice - Vanilla and choc sprinkles muller light.

Gammon steaks with carrot/swede mash (much better that taties :) )




Thursday:

2 x weetabix with strawbs, banana, blueberries. - Coffee (milk - SS HexA)

2 nimble wholemeal - tinned tuna (sarnie) baby gem lettuce leaves with the rest of the tuna on them, grapes, Tesco cheese curls (3.5syns) and a peppermint tea.

Robinsons juice.

Mince beef & onions stew for tea, carrot/swede mash ... yummy





Friday:

2 x weetabix with strawbs, banana, blueberries. - Coffee (milk - SS HexA)

Mince beef'n'onion left over stew ..... and 1 slice nimble (HexB)
Crackling hazelnut choccy options (1.5 syns) - Time out bar (4 syns) .... (5.5 syns so far)

Mint choc skinny cow lollie (only classing it as 4 syns as a massive lump dropped off it and my dog licked it up
:rolleyes: ) - (9.5 syns total)


Chicken casserole with carrot/swede mash (god i love that mash)

Saturday:

Didn`t have dinner as i just wasn`t hungry.

Tea, Bacon omelette with 1 rasher of bacon and 2 nimble (hexb)

Sunday:

2 x weetabix with strawbs, banana, blueberries. - Coffee (milk - SS HexA)

Cup of tea, mullerlight Vanilla and choc.

Salmon.


Tea tonight is going to be beef casserole and chips and 230g baked tatie (hexb)

Glad to have you back!!

My real SW starts again tomorrow after being redic recently! Weight up too but nearing the 12's for me - wish I was yr weight lol c

Well, weigh in for me was this morning, soooooo end of first week .... 4lbs !!!!!!!!!!!! Bloody awesome !!!! 9st 9lbs ...... Week 2 here we come:
