I used to love the SuperSpeed Soup and would have it a few lunch times a week. It was a great boost to my weekly loss, even when I only had it twice a week.
But, recently I got so fed up of it I was actually heaving with a bowl of it on the table, so today I tried to make a new soup with bits and bobs I found in the fridge and cupboard.
I'm not sure how super speedy it is, any comments greatly welcomed.
2 Large Leeks
2 Large Onions
1/2 a Broccoli
3 Cloves of Garlic
200g Green Beans
1 Tin of Mixed Bean Salad
1 Green Pepper
2 Spring Onions
1 Cup of Green Lentils
2 Vegetable Stock Cubes
Mixed Herbs
I chopped everything up, put it in a large pan, covered it in boiling water, brought it to the boil and allowed it to simmer for about 35 minutes.
Then I blitzed it in the blender.
I was only experimenting but all of my family have tried it and really like it. It's not very nice to look at but I liked the taste.
