Scales

Hello, can you recommend any scales please.. Have had a look online but so many to choose from, not sure where to start.

Thank you

Aldis often do digital scales, I've had some from there a while and they are ok. The floors are wonky in my house so no scale is perfect but they are still working after a few years of daily use.

i found that my scales were giving really differing results depending on which area of flooring i used them on...so i went and weighed myself at the gym, then came home and kept trying different areas with my scales until they matched the ones at the gym......now i just make sure i weigh in the same spot every time...ha ha!!!
as for which scales to go for, my personal preference is digital....maybe try argos? xxx

Yes I get this floor problem too, I find that they weigh heavy one place, light another and so. I place them somewhere where they may in between! It is so annoying to think you weigh one weight then move the scales and it adds on 3 or 4 pounds, grrrrrr! It doesn't annoy me as much when they weigh light of course because I can just think 'no that's wrong' but when it addds weight on the paranoia of 'oh no maybe I am heavier than I thought' is there! I'm mental I know.

I have some ww scales which are good, they also calculate your body fat although I never use this feature.

Again they can change results depending what surface you have them on, however as long as you always have them in the same place it doesn't really matter. They might be 1 or 2lbs off with an accurate weight depending where you have them, but as long as they accurately reflect your weight loss that's the important bit!

Yer I have them also. I find them great coz others in family can use them and log their details too..

we just have cheap n cheerful digital ones which give you your weight in either kg, lbs or stone, they were from amazon n from memory around 20quid.

I always weigh myself 3x and then take a average as to what my weight is, always weigh on the lamanate floor never carpet (my paretns have their scales on carpet which is weird)

and always weigh in a morning before i eat or drink x

Mine are Tanita digital ones. Argos used to sell them but don't seem to anymore. They've worked for the last 4 or so years and are quite accurate (once you leave them in the same place as others have said!). I also supplement that by weighing in once a week at my local Boots - always the same branch though as their machines can vary too :)

The WW scales seem to get good reviews from everyone!
