I can fit into my daughter's T-Shirts!

She is 12!

Ok, it isn't as shocking as it sounds.

I did buy her some size 10 tops (you know you are getting old when you call them 'tops' :D), as they were basically the same size as those for her age and they were only £1 each from a local charity shop (I am not proud, if they look new or have tags on them then £1 will do for me!).

Basically I was wearing size 12/14 before I started the diet on the 18th July, now I can get into size 10 but would feel better if I lost a couple more inches off my bust.

I only had about a stone to lose but going down a size or nearly two in that time is a surprise.

:D

So, to any other newbies out there, it can be done.

My husband can't believe how much I am eating, the fridge door is never closed!

It is often quiet harder to lose weight if you don't have a lot to lose.

I was a 12/14 which sounds an ideal size to lots of people but I am only 5' tall and small framed (according to Dukan) so that size was too big for me.

I didn't want to be a size 10 or any daft size, just wanted to feel more comfortable in my clothes and not have to look for size 14 instead of 12.

;)

You're on conso now aren't you Don'tWantToBe? Are you finding you're still losing weight?

Congrats on your success :)

Not really, I have stayed the same but I haven't been out walking for the past few days and I have introduced mature cheddar and wholemeal bread into my diet as per the book.

Dr Dukan says you can have any hard cheese etc so I have had just over 1oz of cheese over the past two days. Yesterday I had a cheese, onion and mushroom dukan omelette for lunch and today I made a cheese and red onion toastie on the GF using wholemeal bread. It was lovely!

Hopefully I will lose a couple of ounces today as I went for an half hour walk with the dog and drank lots more water than yesterday.

We have had visitors staying so I never drink as much water if we are going out shopping etc for the day.

;)

It's a great feeling isn't it! My daughter is 14 and a size 8-10 and I can fit in lots of her clothes now, especially her dresses as they are a little more forgiving. We are off on holiday in 7 weeks and instead of buying 2 sets of holiday clothes I have bought things that we can both wear, hopefully we won't end up squabbling over who wears what:D

Well to be honest they are a bit big for her as she is very slim and flat chested still so there was still a bit of growing room in there. :D

It's not something I was expecting to happen, not in such a short space of time anyway.

:D

Amazing ladies - well done!! My daughter's 14 months old - so I think that her clothes fitting me may be a stretch, even for Dukan!!! :p

wow - well done!! i'd love to be a size 10....

Went a step further today and took a gamble. Thought I would risk £1 on a pair of George size 10 trousers (one of the charity shops was having an everything for £1 day).

OMG! They fit!

I think the last time I was in a pair of size 10 trousers was when I was a teenager, that was 40 years ago!

I think that could be a good tip actually, if you don't mind buying from a charity shop. Buy a size or two lower than you want to get to, if you don't manage it you have only lost a £ or two.

;)

The thing is, I have not stopped eating.

I am on conso at the minute and seem to be losing about 4oz a day at the lower end of the scale, more than a pound a day on other days.

Still no desire to eat chocolate etc.

If I want something sweet then I am having jelly with sweetened greek yoghurt, sometimes 3 times a day and still losing.

This diet is something else.

:D
