Starting tomorrow...question about veggies

Hi, so I read DANDR. 15-20 g of carbs on induction. How is this 2/3 cup of cooked veg, and 2 cups of salad? There is nothing in lettuce. The Atkins website has a recommendation of 6 cups of veg per day. I am confused. Thoughts?
 
Hi Jenni, if you read Jim's sticky at the top of the page 'So you are thinking of starting atkins' you will find some answers. Jim simplifies it all. I think he stuck to 3 cups of leafy green vegetables.

Hello Cinta and Leanne1, thanks for replies, the stickies are most helpful! I missed the stickies while I was using the minimins app, but now that Ive logged onto a regular PC i've noticed them :)
 
To simplify it, Jenni, for Induction you have 20g carb allowance a day. Try to get 15g of this from green leafy veg - lettuce, cabbage, spinach, pak choi, etc - most people find they lose quicker if they do this. And lots and lots of water :)

By the way, Jim says three mugs (not cups). I usually just grab a handful, if I'm in a hurry.
