HexB bread question

Hi, I have read on several threads that people add two syns if they have two slices of wholemeal bread from an 800g loaf rather than a 400g one? Is that correct? Seems a bit low to me but if correct I will definitely be using two syns a day to upsize my toast!

You are allowed 57g whole bread so weigh two slices of whichever bread you use and then syn the excess.
