Hi there - can't anyone else help, hon? Perhaps they've all gone to the great "goal achieved" beach on Bermuda :)

I am on and off but a relative newbie :)
Having a bad few days with so called friends and wanting the ground to swallow me up :(

Diet going good though lol

Hope your ok :)

Hi all!!!!

Sorry not been on for ages! So many things have happened that I have had to sort out.
As a result, I have not been eating properly at all and just the meer word diet sends me into shivers!!!
Anyway, I had a medical last week at work (voluntary one) and I had some serious wake up calls!

Both me and DH have decided that both of our health is suffering badly and we need to sort it out!
As a result, I am contacting my local Cambridge Counsellor to see what we can arrange for both of us (at least this time I will have his support!).
I will still "lurk" on the SW thread, as I really want to make sure that you are all loosing (!) and as I have done the diet for so long perhaps my advice will help many of you here.

Thank you for all your support so far, but this is certainly NOT goodbye!! :wave_cry:

Hi Mrs V

Good luck to you, i have done both LL and CD in order to get most of my weight off, it is definately worth coming back to SW when you have lost most of your weight as it really does help you maintain your losses.

Take care and pop back when you can - think its just me and Sonban now!!

Carrie x:wave_cry:

Awww, thanks for the words of encouragement!

I will be here anyway, can't say goodbye that easily!!
:wave_cry:

Hi all,
Haven't posted for ages and ages! I've enjoyed trawling through the different threads and recognising the names. I don't know if anyone remembers me - but I got married in May (perfect day) and had a blissful honeymoon in Canada then back to earth with a bump - mum in hospital - but all better now :D

Currently I'm just trying to keep up with work (extremely busy) and trying to decorate the house at the same time - not fun :( oh well - it'll get done eventually. I'm typing this at 00.23hrs cos I can't sleep tonight. Went to bed and then lay there wide awake for ages - worrying about work and decorating!

Anyway - as you can see from my sig - I'm still losing with SW - but I can't seem to stick to it as well as I did at first - i suppose I'm not alone in that tho ' I gave all my larger clothes to the Sally Army recently and bought some new ones 4 sizes smaller!!:eek::eek: It's lovely meeting someone I haven't seen in ages - they are all so surprised at the change in me :D:D

I'll have to start haunting the threads regularly again rather than waiting for a sleepless night!!
Love ff x

Hi ff Yes I remember you welcome back. Hope you get settled soon with all the stuff you have got on at the moment. And wow look at your weight loss you are doing fantastic keep up the fab work well done. Look forward to seeing you back around.:wavey:

I've been attempting the Unit Diet the last coupla weeks to see if a change of plan would help shift my last few lbs! It's a great plan and I've lost 2lbs, but I feel as though I've been cutting back on food in order to save units for alcohol for the weekend...so I've felt a bit hungry at times which I never felt on SW.

Hows everyone been doing then? xx

Hello I'm going to start waffling away because I'm bored. Today I rejoined SW. I'd only had a couple of weeks off but I still felt like I wanted a fresh start. I have to say my motivation is lacking though and I really need something to encourage me. Although, in my group this morning a woman got her 5 1/2 stone award and I felt so sheepish that she'd managed to do that in 2 years and I was still hovering around the same weight! I'm going to give myself a kick up the arse and get on with it.

Hiya Skinny welcome aboard the SW train dont you worry about waffling away your talking to the master of it:D Anyway if you need anything you know where we are just give us a yell and someone will answer may not be straight away but someone will answer. At our group a girl who started on the same day as me 20 weeks ago got her 5 and a half stone award a few weeks ago and I was like :eek::eek::eek: how the blinkin eck did she do that I thought I was doing good losing 3 and a half stone in 20 weeks but 5 and a half is just :eek::eek::eek: Anyway if you managed to get to the end of my waffling with out falling asleep I am sure I will see you around on here. Good luck:wavey:

Hi son & everyone else.

Well I am back with my tail between my legs, I so haven't stuck to the diet so I am going to try again from today.

I think I have put more weight on so I now have more to shift but my scales aren't working.

I was just reading a post about tesco yogurts though and I am a little worried, have the syn values changed or are the healthy living ones still free? I am totally confused.

I need to stick to this diet as I am completely unhappy with my weight at the minute and I have a shed load of clothes which I just can't fit in!
