Attack leftover yolks??

Hi everyone, Day 3 of Attack for me today, still battling with my sweet tooth so decided to make some meringues tonight as follows:

egg whites
aspartame sweetener (or 'fluff' as it's affectionately known as in my house)
cream of tartar
vanilla essence

Does anyone have any ideas what to do with the leftover yolks? seems such a waste to bin them.

i've searched thread titles on the forum but the only ones returned are for Slimming World users - nothing for Dukan?

I don't like egg custard so can't use them for that.

any suggestions would be much appreciated :)

I hear that cats like them... or you could simply use them in scrambled eggs? But I throw mine away, looking after my arteries by trying to cut down on yolks so it's a bit futile saving them from one recipe then eating them in somethng else!

You could make a face mask for dry skin:

"Mix one egg yolk, one teaspoon honey and a teaspoon olive oil and some vitamin E oil if you have it. Smooth on and leave on for 15 min. , rinse in lukewarm water and pat dry. "

If you are into art or craft you can make Egg Tempera paint for use on wood or card - it's the paint Botticelli used to create his paintings, very bright, clear and long lasting.

Strain the egg yolks to remove the membrane, mix with an equal amount of water, and add to powdered pigments to make the paint just when you need it.

thanks ladies :D
does anyone have any edible suggestions for yolks? ;)

Or, for those with a family, use them for something NON Dukan friendly!

I make custard/crème caramel for the kids. Wonder if I could give one to the kitten now and again? We used to give them to the dog too (but can't remember if she had them as a puppy).

Sorry to hijack.
