Mongolian Beef

1/2 tsp ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 Tbsp Brown sugar blend splenda or 1tsp Splenda
1/2lb sirloin steak cut against the grain into 1/4 inch strips
2 Tbsp cornstarch
2 large green onions, cut greens into 2 inch strips, chop whites
red pepper flakes to taste

Add ginger and garlic to a saucepan coated with cooking spray and quickly add soy sauce and water. Add sweetener to pan and let sauce thicken for a few minutes. Remove from heat. Shake meat and cornstarch in a plastic bag until coated and let set for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, heat a skillet sprayed with a bit of cooking spray. Add the meat to the pan and brown each side for a couple of minutes. Add a couple of tablespoons of water and simmer for 2 more minutes. Add the sauce and simmer for another minute, add the green onions and red pepper flakes and cook for one last minute. Serve immediately

Just to be clear for new people...

This recipe is NOT suitable for Attack phase, and does contain tolerated ingredients (TWO for the cornstarch, and the soy sauce is an iffy one as many of us stall with it!)

1/2 tsp ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 Tbsp Brown sugar blend splenda or 1tsp Splenda
1/2lb sirloin steak cut against the grain into 1/4 inch strips
2 Tbsp cornstarch (two tolerateds)
2 large green onions, cut greens into 2 inch strips, chop whites
red pepper flakes to taste
