Stalled

After a flying start I started cruise on Tuesday and stalled Thursday, even putting on a pound -where did that come from? I can't even have consumed enough calories for it.

I've been really good and even on PV days not eating that many veggies. I've just done 2 PP days to try and kick start it again and have drunk loads of water but no use.

Will it get back on track again?

It's not a stall - its just the normal adjustment to the change from Attack to Cruise.
Hang on in there.

Thanks - I told myself it might happen, it's just terribly disheartening when it does.
I'm away this weekend too (camping at a festival) and am worried how I'll manage with that. I can take some things with me but fresh food won't last for more than a day or 2 even in a cold box.

Not stalled - just adjusting!

Hi,
I just wanted to offer some encouragement as I had the same experience a couple of days ago. i finished attack and then after first day of PV (cruise) I put a pound back on. This pound seemed to hang around for 2 futher days but today I've dropped 2 lbs again - yay!!! It just takes a couple of days for your body to adjust! I think that Mr Dukan is wrong to say to weigh yourself daily because it can be so disheartening if you've been really good and the scales don't keep going down at the pace you want them to!!

I've also just spent the weekend at the Rewind Festival! It was very challenging but with planning it's very possible!! Lots of chicken, boiled eggs, crabsticks, tomatoes, pepper strips and carrots to snack on! I stuck to it 100% and did 2 PV days and was very proud of myself!

I had something similar happen to me, after my attack days and a few successful cruise days I stalled, then a few grs came up etc. I did not think anything of it. I just continued the diet with out getting down and it took me 6 days to see a decrease in the scales but it did happened. And when it did it was a big chunk.

Don't despair, just continue eating like you have been and drinking your water, in the end the weight has to give!;)

Thanks all.

I skipped my PV day yesterday to see if that'll help. I'll keep on going and hopefully it'll get back on track soon.

Please don't start skipping PV days (your intestines won't thank you for it, and weren't you the one eating rhubarb on PP days because you were errr blocked? I might have the wrong person, mind!)... we're always saying that the weight loss with Dukan is not a downward linear one if you plot your weight daily on a graph. There will be pits and troughs. PP days tend to relieve us of water, some of which we take back on PV days...

A stall is 10-12 days with no loss and that's when we'll look more closely at your menus. Please post daily detailed menus so that, if you get to ten days, we can look back at an accurate diary!

Chin up!

Thanks all.
The stubborn gained pound has gone again :)

I had an 'opps' moment this morning though - I opened a new tub of yoghurt yesterday and to my delight this tub tasted nicer than my last couple. I had some more this morning and suddenly thought I ought to recheck the label, and right enough it was the full fat version! Shame, it was sooo nice!!
(Just to rub it in my mum is currently eating it next to me)

For the PV days, I'm not really craving veggies and fidn it comes to dinner time sometimes and I've still not had any so will make a bolognese or whatever as I crunch a carrot stick. I'm not really having any 'internal sluggishness' the opposite if anything (sorry if TMI) - typical me - never conforming! I'll do my best to keep alternating though.
