Well we've decided to definately go our seperate ways. I've made the step of arranging a valuation for our house on Saturday, and will probably get 3 in total. Whatever equity is in the house, he will have to give me half of which may not be much but anything's better than nothing. I am going to move back in with my parents on a VERY temporary basis. Just for 6-8 months to get some money together, and the idea then is that I'll have enough for a small deposit on somewhere, so I'll either buy a house on an affordable housing scheme myself or I'll rent somewhere with the house deposit safely tucked away for if/when I meet someone and want to buy somewhere in the future (not that I'm intending on that happening anytime soon!). So as scary as it is, in a years time I should have a nice amount of money put by. It's just terrifying starting again and I hate the thought of being without him but I am slightly excited at the same time. It's a new start. We had a holiday booked for 2 weeks time just prague for 5 days, taking his mum too and I'm still going to go as I would have lost my money else but will do my own thing except for the evenings and keep it strictly friendly. Sorry for the long post, just need to get things straight in my own head and writing it down's the best way. Thanks for all the advice you gave me a few weeks ago.
