Advice needed!

I've done Exante before, earlier this year in fact. The lbs have crept back on and now I'm heavier than when I started :cry:
I've started today but I've just realised that I am booked onto a chocolate making course on Saturday (it was a birthday present from my husband and daughter, bless!) which involves making and tasting. Should I continue with the diet until Saturday and keep my tasting down to the bare minimum or is it pointless starting now and should I wait until Saturday has been and gone? I'm seriously stuck! What should I do?
 
Hi am new to this but would advise starting as soon as possible, otherwise there is a chance your weight will increase before Saturday and then you can just keep the tasting to a minimum.
 
That's what I thought too. I'm just wondering about the whole ketosis thing. Chances are I'll be in ketosis by Saturday but then the chocolate will knock me out so will going into ketosis twice in quick succession be really hard to do or have any adverse effects on weight loss? Or am I worrying about nothing?
 
It doesn't really matter. You should go ahead and enjoy the class, I think. If you start on Exante now, you will be taken out of ketosis by eating chocolate, yes.. but it's not the end of the world. You probably won't even notice. You can just continue on as normal after the class. People make a big deal about ketosis but it's not some kind of mystical thing. Your body will snap back into it :)

If you start now, you will lose some weight by Saturday that you wouldn't lose otherwise. Then you will have extra motivation for going back to the diet on Sunday.

Sensible advise . Also we all deal with these life blips constantly eg celebrations bad news meals out hols etc so this wont be the first time . I agree re ketosis . You do snap back in but it's more a focus that exante is the primary way of eating for a while and the other choices many of us make on the journey are just temporary blips . Good luck on starting . You will have lost a few pounds by sat and sticking to the diet easier . It's just tasting after all not a marathon choc gorge right ? !! :) x
 
as the others have said .. jump on now , enjoy saturday then get straight back on it . You wont be far out of ketosis if you dont eat too much so it shouldnt be too bad getting back in the zone . Life has a way of always throwing something up and we are tempted to put things off ....... but grab it now and get started ... you can make a great weight loss even with a small blip on saturday .. 'ont put off till tomorrow what you can do today :D'
