Hi all, im new to this site and appreciate any support and advise! Ive looked through the forums as a guest and this is the best site ive seen and is a credit to all the members.

Im a single mum with 1 gorgeous boy who is 5 in october. So abit of back ground.... Within 3 months of having my son i discovered my thyroid had packed in. For months my medication was up and down like a yo yo. Once stable on my medication i have found my weight increase gradully. i work full time in a varied role which i love although I must admit that i find thyroxine leaves me foggy and slugish.

As a single mum, finding time for me doesnt exist. So ive been tapping away on the net and am planning on hiring one of those vibrating plate machine to help jiggle some weight off ;-)

So here i am ready for the challenge ahead. Ive set myself a target to be my target weight by 21 october, just before i go on holiday.

Good luck hope it goes well for you.I know I'm always busy and I don't have children so must be very hard but you will do it...theres lots of support and advise here which will really help!

Hello and welcome :0)
Wishing you much success on your weight loss plan. Those vibrating plates sound like fun. I've got a bit too much to jiggle at the moment; fear it might be painful. Will wait till lost a bit and then maybe give them a go.
Here's to a slimmer you and a happy holiday in October.

Lol you and me both. If a butterfly wing fluttering can cause an avalanche on the other side of the world, I hate to think what me jiggling might do!!!!!!

HaHa lass321 your post did make me chuckle :0)
Reading your signature you have accomplished a heck of a lot already. No doubt you will achieve your goal.
I always get to 14st 2pds and then I hit a brick wall and can't get any further. The 13stone bracket is elusive and I wobble, go out of control and rocket back up to the 16stones.
Here's to all of us beating our demons and getting into the healthy BMI range. This can be our Christmas present to ourselves!!
