One week in and being sick!

Hi

I am 10 days into the RC diet and suffering with sickness especially late afternoon! Been happening for a week now.

Having eaten very little bread, fruit and yoghurts for a few years due to intolerances I have started to introduce them and not sure if that is causing the sickness.

lost 8 lb at my first weigh in but have eaten so little for days it is hardly surprising.

Has anyone else suffered like this on the diet?

Thanks

8lbs is fab well done!

I haven't experience the things you've described, but it does sound like it could be the reintroduction if you have allergies?
Is it worth altering your lunch if the sick feeling is happening in the afternoon, just to see if that makes a difference?

Hope you're feeling better soon :)

Thank you for taking the time to reply Kitty.

I have been changing my lunch food and some days as I feel so fragile from being sick the previous day I have barely eaten. I will knock bread on the head first of all and see whether that makes a difference.

I think you're right it might be worth trying to build your meals around food you know are safe for you intolerance wise and then try introducing the others one by one to see if it affects you?

It could be a bug I guess but does seem a coincidence that its coincided with the introduction of the foods.

Make sure you're drinking plenty of water too as you're possible dehydrated.

Hope you feel much better soon, let us know how its going :)

Sorry to hear its been affecting you like this. I have a mild wheat and dairy intolerance and when I started rosy c I first thought I could eat the bread and dairy. I was wrong - not sick just feeling horrible with a dodgy tummy! Now I have little bits ( more than I could have before rosy c)

Hope you manage to sort it out for yourself.
