Shopping

Pre slimming world i used to shop in sainsburys, but now its just too expensive! I always shop in tesco now as its so much cheaper and you earn club card points, get 5p off petrol double up clubcard points etc etc. I do have to go to sainsburys for some meats though. They have a great range of ''be good to yourself'' beef, pork, bacon, sandwich ham etc etc. xx

I used to do Sainsbury's but I do Tesco online now. I save money even tho I pay a delivery charge cos I dont buy cr@ppe walking round the shop. Also Sainsburys are forever out of stock off half of my shopping list or just dont sell it at all.

i think Im going to have to start getting some stuff elsewhere cheaper though, its just getting extortionate :(

I'm a shop hoar,I'm lucky to have morrisons, 2 Lidl, 2 Aldi, Tesco,co op, Sainsburys all within 10 mins in car. But morrisons is nearest ,I spend too much there. I prefer to do Aldi or Lidl then get branded items morrions. But health doesn't always allow that. And no loo at Aldi or Lidl doesn't help me.
I'm doing Sainsburys lately as they Sent me a months worth of £12 off £60 spend. I spent less there this week than I would morrisons. I wish I could do a veg fruit Market shop weekly but I'm not that organised, nor can I carry it all back to the car.

I have had the vouchers from sainsburys for the last couple of weeks, but I am not keen on there fruit and veg, salad so have been doing my mine shop at Sainsburys then fruit, veg, salad from morrison but it cost a fortune, so need really to go to just one supermarket that does everything so I am not going here they and everywhere. x

Gosh I shop everywhere!

Veggies from Abel & Cole
Meat, fish/seafood, chicken from Costco
Everything else from Waitrose

sainsbury's usually as its down the road. sometimes asda. ive tried aldi but was very unimpressed with the fruit and veg quality so ive not bothered again.

I try and shop around to get specific deals! In my slimming world group, we have a dry wipe board members use to write up the deals they've spotted in various local stores and supermarkets, so we all know about them!

Maybe suggest this to your consultant if you go to group?

Tesco online. That way I can just get what I need and not be seduced by special offers on crisps and chocolate!

I wish I had the time to shop from different places to get all the bargains.

My main shop I do via Tesco online as I find Tesco tends to be the cheapest on most things. Plus I like having the bulk of my shopping delivered as I go through 2ltr bottles of sparkling water like they are going out of fashion, and hate having to lug them in and out of the car!

However, I then end up nipping elsewhere when we run out of things or if I don't need enough to justify paying the delivery fee.

Plus, I have to nip to Morrisons for their 0.5 syn sausages and Crux white wine when it is on offer (handy that it's only a couple of minutes drive from home!) and to Asda for their cooked meat - their deli packs are the best cooked ham/beef/turkey I have found yet! Thankfully there's a huge Asda about 10 minutes away from work so I can nip there either at lunchtime or on the way home either weekly or fortnightly to get some. I also head to Makro once every couple of months to stock up on cheap bacon, chicken fillets and fish.

We get Lidl offer leaflets through our door weekly, so if there's anything on a good offer there then we also nip there - again, only a couple of minutes drive from home - we have Morrisons, Tesco and Lidl all within a couple of minutes from home which comes in handy!

I have found that no matter where I try and do my shopping I just can't get everything I want in the same place!

I shop in Asda, occasionally I'll pop to Aldi after WI but it's quite small, and can be a bit empty 1/2 hour before they close.
from time to time in Morrisons, I jump of the train 1 stop early, so can only get what I can carry - their fresh stuff doesn't
last too long, so won't do a proper shop with the car
